Enough with the “Christ of the Rings”-ish backstory with the Dark One—we’re back to the fairy tales we grew up with. This week, it’s Hansel and Gretel. The proportional is clear and rather sweet, with touches of the ongoing story of Emma and Snow White, too.
We altruistic in a sweet shop/drugstore. A little girl introduces herself to Henry. (It’s a insignificant class–shouldn’t he already know her name?) It’s a set up for her confrere to put some candy bags in Henry’s bag.
In Fairytale, the twins are Hansel and Gretel. Their woodcutter dad gives Gretel a compass before sending them off to chop wood. But when they carry back, he’s gone. Uh oh. Maybe the compass was a set up too.
They kids run shouting for dad, but are accosted by Regina and her suntanned knights.
In Storybrooke, the store owner has called Regina in about the boyish criminals.
Emma sees the twins were stealing toothpaste and worries about their one's nearest.
