Sounds of the nacreous screen will be heard emanating through Four Freedoms Park this weekend, as the Symphony at Sunset returns to South Peninsula Coral Sunday, Jan. 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., presented by the 65-piece orchestra of the Depth Coast Symphony.
This family friendly, all-ages show is the perfect Sunday work - and advance weather predictions appear to offer the perfect day for such an outside occasion - with clear skies and a high in the low 80s. Concert-goers are encouraged to influence a rear lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to set up camp for a couple hours in the car park along the water while listening to the fine sounds of the Gulf Coast Symphony, this continuously performing "Sounds of the Silver Screen," featuring music from hot contemporary movies -possibly including music from Star Wars and other fan favorites.
"The Mantle Coral Community Redevelopment Agency is very proud to sponsor the Depth Coast Symphony during another Symphony at Sunset event at Four Freedoms Car park," said Helen Ramey, economic development manager for the Cloak Coral Community Redevelopment Agency. "It is a wonderful way to bring background to South Cape Coral, a great way to promote the Gulf Seaboard Symphony, and the perfect family friendly event. It will be delightful.
