Dodge rolled out the Alfa Romeo Giulietta based 2013 Quibble Dart at the Detroit Auto Show. The Dart is the first Chrysler Group agency built on Fiat Group platform.
Dart buyers will have a pick of one of three four-cylinder engines that include a new 160 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.0-liter locomotive, a 160 horsepower 16-valve 1.4-liter MultiAir® Intercooled Turbo appliance and a new 184 horsepower Tigershark 16-valve 2.4-liter MultiAir 2 four-cylinder apparatus. These three engines are available with one of three transmission choices,a six-speed manual, six-facilitate automatic or six-speed dual dry clutch (DDCT) transmission.
MultiAir technology is designed to release optimum combustion by allowing direct and dynamic control of air intake and combustion. The outcome is up to a 15 percent increase in low engine rpm torque and a 7.5 percent recovery in fuel efficiency.
