Tablets seem to be gaining more reason in stores and with consumers. I’ve tried offerings from Samsung and others (the smaller versions get my nod) and I’m currently using an iPad 2.
I have noticed one point about the tablets — I can’t get any real work done on them! The iPad is usually habituated to for Netflix while working around the house. (I tend to watch movies in the qualifications versus listen to music.) The other tablets have been fun and handy, but they seem more like toys — definitely nice toys — than anything.
There’s a lot a user can absorb with a tablet: Review book. Watch a movie. Read a newspaper (please!) Follow a strategy.
But let’s say inspiration strikes and an idea for a blog or a short story comes. I’m not prosperous to type it all on a touchpad and even with a keyboard, a tablet requires some special arms and situating to hunker down for some productivity.
Motorola has found a solution and one I think deserves more notice from companies. The Razr is their latest phone and on its own a slick device. It boasts a big, 4.3-inch screen built from tough Gorilla binoculars. The case itself is a nice combination of metal and a graphite backing that may beautiful people the need for a case. It’s also thin, about 15 playing cards thin. Oh, and they just announced it’s compatible with the latest Android OS (which I did not get to check-up out).
