A sling with the works is expected by early 2013, with distribution at Kenneth Cole New York retail stores and choice department and specialty stores worldwide, although consumers can expect some collections to be unveiled as originally as Fall 2012.
The collection will include loungewear and hosiery, with a focus on relief, aesthetics and quality.
Back in November, Kenneth Cole announced a licence deal to pitch in India. This latest announcement highlights the company’s gargantuan-scale plans.
In a release, Kenneth Cole Productions CEO Paul Blum said the latest shoot heralded “another step in our overall strategy to become a leading dual-gender international lifestyle brand”.
Kenneth Cole, famed for its all-American aesthetic, now boasts more than 90 retail and vent stores worldwide, as well as being available online.
Its bid to become an international lifestyle type echoes the ambitions of other labels with origins in footwear such as Jimmy Choo, the British footwear sort that has branched into handbags, eyewear and perfume since it was founded in 1996.
