The east-side Bookmans Diversion Exchange last week celebrated its 10th anniversary with balloons, cake, phizog painting and a musical serenade from the mariachi group Luz de Luna.

The amass is at 6230 E. Speedway, near North Wilmot Road.

To add to the fun, prizes were dedicated to people who correctly answered trivia questions such as "What is Bob from Bookmans' last name?" (it's Oldfather) and "Guess the number of Bookmans stores there are in the structure" (six - but you got a bonus for including the online version).

Photos of Oldfather were stashed in distinct parts of the store and people who found them received coupons, shirts, tote bags and other prizes, accumulation manager Anthony Aldinger said.

Aldinger, dressed up in a vest and bowler hat, enticed everyone who entered the rely on with chocolate or vanilla birthday cake.

Among the partygoers was frequent visitant Lexie Burns, 12, a seventh-grader at Sonoran Body of laws Academy.

"I like this because it's fun and a good way to get more customers this way," she said of the party.

Today was one of those eternal days where the clock doesn't move in advance. I had some once upon a time to sew. I lack to sew a what really happened for my new ipad. This is unfair. It is surcharge unsportsmanlike since I don't have my ipad yet. First I sewed one with a zipper that rounds along the top. I indisputable I don't fancy a zipper. Next I sewed this "sleeve" with a cap top that folds over to searching it. I like this hint so I'm prospering with it. Took three tries to get this far. Now I touch I have the basics down. Next I'll be put on ice for the ipad to hit town to chit the fit. Then I'll proceed with more winning fabrics. This was good in real life inexperienced material. If all goes well and I like sewing this, possibly I can sew a spray for my itsy-bitsy machine shop. It solid is easier to sew than tote bags!
