A man entered Coldwell Banker on Bloomfield Avenue earlier this month and walked off with an hand’s Gucci purse, according to Caldwell Police Det. Lt. Anthony Marta.

The imagine is described as 45 to 50 years old, about 5’10” tall and 180 pounds, with ebony hair, black mustache, and a fair complexion, either white or Hispanic, Marta said.

The set-to occurred on Saturday, Jan. 7 and was reported at 3:35 p.m.

The employee told the coppers her purse was on the floor behind the reception desk when the suspect entered the corporeal estate business through the rear Academy Road entrance. He said he was waiting for his bride and asked to use the bathroom, which she said was broken.

She asked him to wait in the greeting area. The employee said she left the area and when she returned the man was gone, and so was her wallet.

The designer purse contained a wallet with cash and credit cards.

Patrol have released the composite sketch above of the suspect.
