NORWALK, Conn. - Carlos A. Rivera, 76, of Norwalk, died Slog 18 in Springfield, Mass.

Rivera was born Dec. 17, 1935, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to the belatedly Felix and Ricarda Santiago Rivera. He was a retired supervisor for Dooney & Bourke. Rivera is remembered by dearest and friends for his heart and generosity. He was an avid New York Mets fan. 

Rivera was predeceased by his bride, Ramonita Rivera, in 1994. Survivors include his daughters, Lizzette Perez of Chicago, Ill., Carmen E. Rivera of Puerto Rico and Jessica Rivera of Norwalk; his sons, Carlos J. Rivera of Puerto Rico, Jose Rivera of Pennsylvania and Carlos A. Rivera of Norwalk; his brothers, Adolfo Rivera of New Jersey and Asbel Rivera of Maine; his sisters, Celia Cruzsantiago and Luz E. Fernandez, both of Puerto Rico; 10 grandchildren, three active-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Friends may visit the m from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory in Norwalk. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at the exequies home and 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Norwalk. Interment will develop at St. John's Cemetery in Norwalk.
