How do I remove the plastic taste from a camelbak?
Question: I recently bought a Camelbak hydration drive off and when I drank water it tasted like rubber. How do I get rid of this soup in addition to just dealing with it?
Answer: Try adding 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the bladder, filling it with hot dilute get wet and let stand for 2 hours, drain, rinse several times. No more plastic soup, with fresh drinking water. It will disappear by itself on the culture, though.
